    About Reem

    My name is Reem Greiver,

    I am now to believe I have the capabilities, knowledge, experience and most of all, the wish to write an expert travel industry blog.

    I have been in the Travel business for over 17 years, while some say I am actually almost 40 years in travel as my late grandfather opened his travel agency in 1934, while my father continued the legacy, which makes me 3rd consecutive generation active as a travel expert.

    My BA with Honors Degree is from Oxford, Brooks University, England, where I studied Business Administration & Tourism.  MBA I studied in Bar Ilan University, Israel.Is that a good enough reason to share the world with my travel industry expert blog?  I strongly believe that having spent tremendous time from the business side of the industry and as an individual traveler;   Yes, it’s high time.

    I believe my vast experience in the travel arena, such as; the Low Cost Airlines revolution, travel with kids, travel insurance, car rental, hotel reservations, online bookings vs. travel agents, honeymoon destinations, and business travel, will help many of you to better understand how travel works, and even improve your own travel experience.

    Nevertheless, my extensive worldwide travel in countries such as:Asia: Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, Nepal, India.South Pacific; Australia.  Europe, England, Scotland, France, Germany Belgium, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, South America: Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Africa; Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana, U.S America & Canada; East Coast, West Coast, South East. Middle East; Israel, Egypt.  In the past years I have personally served clients who flew to any spot in the world, thus, I have studied and watched documentaries on most destinations.  There were years I worked with business clients who spent 12 hours on a plane for a single meeting and return home.  While other years I have specialized in Honey-Moon travel, exclusive, tailor made honeymoon packages.  Other years I worked in a travel insurance department, what is called these days: assistance travel.

    I enjoy working in the travel industry.

      Hi Reem,

      I enjoyed good reading your blog and love the laser sharp travel focus.
      I think you would be the guy best placed to update the wikipedia section on the internet threat faced by travel agencies.
